A JOURNEY
Where am I from - Where am I going?

With butterflies in my stomach
I set off on a journey
into the unknown, along a twisting road
to the east, to the west
to an unknown place, whence the colours come.
No way back, only the road in front
onwards or in circles that soften and melt away into themselves
Obstacles and trepidation mean nothing
because the journey is all,
the quest for colours
black - white
light and shadow
in the bottomless depths
in sleep and wakening,
light flickers around the dark
a split-second movement becomes an eternal now.
the journey continues towards the happiness of the moment
I meet blood-red women who scurry unexpectedly from the shadows
but undaunted continue on my way
along this strange road on which travellers are unforeseen
and which has no end.
